From the deckle
children and teenagers (age 7-19)

Have you ever wondered what paper is made of? What does the process of papermaking consist of? During the workshops, participants will learn about the ancient method of papermaking using a deckle. Additionally, every sheet of paper will be decorated with dried plants, pieces of blotting paper and other small elements. During the workshops, children will also see the section of the exhibition devoted to the manuscript of Pan Tadeusz.

Paper as you imagined it. Ebru – a technique of decorating paper
children and teenagers (age 7-19)

We use paper every day, often as a plain white sheet… But what if we transferred patterns from our imagination onto a piece of paper? During the workshops, every student will create their own patterns of unique marble paper, which can be used as decoration, book cover or ornamental paper. As a part of the workshops, children will also see the section of the exhibition devoted to the manuscript of Pan Tadeusz and The Romantic's Library.
