As part of the #WrocławCzyta festival, the Tadeusz Różewicz Municipal Public Library in Wrocław has prepared a unique exhibition of photographs by Chris Niedenthal, entitled “Identity”. The exhibition features several dozen photographs – many of which have never been published before – taken in Wrocław during the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s. These images present the city in a completely new light. The work of one of Europe’s most prominent photojournalists, this collection is both an important historical record and an extraordinary attempt to capture the spirit of a bygone era. The photographs are on display at the Pan Tadeusz Museum throughout July and August.
